The traditional Chinese mortise and tenon structure is a wisdom crystallization of Chinese civilization. However, it is currently facing severe challenges of inheritance disruption due to the impact of modern industrial manufacturing technologies, as well as its high production costs and low dissemination efficiency. With the continuous advancement of information technology, the practical means of virtually displaying and interacting with the material carriers of traditional culture through digital translation have gradually matured. This study utilizes the Unity engine to assist in creating a virtual exhibition and interaction platform for traditional mortise and tenon components. Through cloud adaptation and multi-terminal access, it breaks through the spatial and temporal limitations of physical exhibitions, providing users with basic knowledge of mortise and tenon structures, and allowing them to immersively experience the structural charm exhibited by the 3D models of mortise and tenon components in combination, rotation, and transformation. By using digital means, this study aims to achieve the protection, educational popularization, and cultural dissemination of traditional crafts, providing a practical reference case for the digital inheritance of traditional material cultural carriers.
