Abstract: In the field of event activities, the study on the economic impact of MICE is relatively weak compared to sports activities. How to integrate all the industries and regions related to the MICE to avoid distortion and leakage is one of the difficulties in the study of the economy impact of the MICE. This study is the first time to use the interregional input-output model (IRI0) to calculate the intraregional and interregional influence power of the MICE industry in 30 provinces by merging the 12 industrial sectors that related to MICE. Taking the Canton Fair as a case, we have an empirical analysis of the indirect economic impact of the MICE. The research results show that China's MICE industry has a strong pulling effect on the national economy, and almost all regions will have a mutual diffusion effect. As for total output, the influence power of the MICE industry shows obvious differences in the East Coast and Midwest. There is still room for development in China's MICE industry. Case studies show that the indirect economic impact of the 104th Canton Fair is about 16.243 billion yuan (the highest proportion in Guangdong, 35.09%), the ratio of direct and indirect impact is 1:2.94, five industrial sectors such as wholesale and retail trade affected by the Canton Fair, the total proportion is 77%.

Abstract: The reform of the Tax-sharing System in China only regulates the vertical tax distribution relationship between the central government and the local government, but the horizontal tax distribution contradiction between the local governments is increasingly prominent. This paper takes China as an example, using data and empirical models, combined with theoretical analysis, discusses the problems of tax transfer and tax coordination among different regions in a country, which is essentially the problem of the deviation from tax and tax sources. This paper calculates the degree of deviation between regional tax and tax sources by the method of proportion difference, and makes an empirical analysis of the factors affecting tax transfer, including market size, labor cost, trade cost, urbanization level, degree of opening. It explains the phenomena, causes, impacts and harm on economic development of tax transfer among regions in China. Those impacts include: increasing regional disparities and hindering regional coordinated development, widening the gap in public services between regions, stimulating the irrational investment behavior and scale expansion of local governments, distorting economic indicators is not conducive to scientific decision-making, deteriorating the natural environment of the resource-providing place, influencing the construction of the harmonious society. Then make the suggestion that the macro level top-level design plan and policy should be adopted at the national level: improve the tax distribution system for horizontal transfer payments, improve the vertical financial transfer payment distribution system, reform the tax system appropriately according to the principle that the tax is consistent with the tax source, improve the tax collection and management system, improve the management of corporate consolidated tax payment, promote the reform of the price mechanism of resource elements and solving the problem of the resource pricing distortion, reform the performance evaluation indicators of local governments to prevent vicious tax competition, replace regional tax incentives with industrial tax incentives.

Abstract: The implementation of good project management practice effectively, is a way of improving future projects especially in groundwater construction projects. The lack of good project management principles may cause project delays, and higher costs. A fundamental principle of project management is that any project, regardless of its size or type, consists of three components: scope, budget, and schedule. The purpose of this paper is to investigate and examine how project Management practice in groundwater construction projects in Ghana. The research focuses on the issues of management practice in groundwater construction projects in order to recommend ways of improving management practices. The data were collected through a questionnaire survey sent to the managers, consultants and client’s representative who had been involved in the construction of groundwater projects in Ghana. The survey covered the project management lifecycle: project initiation, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling the closing/evaluating processes of the project. The result of the data analysis reveals that: all three groups (managers, consultant and clients representative) generally agreed that most of the problems in the groundwater construction projects are human and management related. Furthermore, the results indicated that most of the projects did not have project management processes and procedures. The paper concludes with recommendations that the scope of the project is defined and a project management plan is developed be taken in the early stages (conceptual and planning, and evaluating phases) of the groundwater construction projects.

Abstract: Millennial generation entrepreneurs are showing a higher than average interest in starting new companies. This generation is key to economic success in Canada since the millennial generation comprises roughly 25% of the Canadian population. Mentors may make the difference between success and failure of these new ventures. This multiple case study explored 6 millennial generation small business owners participating in the Futurpreneur Canada mentoring program. Data included semistructured interviews with participants of the Futurpreneur mentoring program, experience profiles of these participants, and public information about the Futurpreneur program. The analysis of the data demonstrated that mentors provided career support by serving in the following roles: (a) advisor for entering new markets, (b) connector to experts, and (c) advisor on a business function. Insights from this study may help program designers, entrepreneurs, and mentors work together to enable entrepreneurs to develop their organizations and set them on the path to success.

Abstract: Because of the inconsistent objectives of decision-makers and asymmetric information, the efforts and enthusiasm of the military supply chain members will not only affect their own benefits, but also produce adverse selection and moral hazard problems, and even affect the supply chain stable operation. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a reasonable and effective coordination rules and procedures, namely the incentive mechanism, in order to achieve the goal of supply chain system to meet the needs of military users. To stimulate the motivation and enthusiasm of each the supply chain member, and the military supply chain overall revenue also achieve the maximization, The paper applies the incentive mechanism design & game theory, designs a transfer payment incentive mechanism model between the supply chain channel members according to the order quantity size, tries to change the expected profit objective function of the incented object, makes them to choose the optimal effort level coincided with the military supply chain total expected revenue, establishes a long-term cooperative partnership each other based on mutual trust and information sharing, gives full play to their respective advantages, achieves the supply chain collaboration efficiency improved purpose, and ultimately realizes the goal to improve the military logistic support capability. This study method mainly refers to the use of certain means to regulate economic interests to stimulate and restrain the decision-making behavior of military enterprises and warehouses, enhance and mobilize their motivation and enthusiasm. The study conclusion has important reference value to improve the coordination level of army and local and the military logistic support effectiveness.
